STOLE MY VEHICLE!

I will do my best to relate this nightmare scenario as quickly as possible. We just lost our home and all of our belongings in a Nationally declared disaster/wildfire in Washington State and had to relocate to Tennessee in order to keep from becoming homeless. All we had left was our truck... which I hired Stateway to transport for us. First... they did not pick it up when stated nor did they pick it up during the window they permit themselves. When I kept asking them why it had not been picked up they would give me a different story according to whom I spoke with. The original contact... Rachel was so rude to me and actually began threatening me... so I refused to communicate with her.

Good luck getting in touch with these people if you have a complaint. They had a guy named Andy communicate with me and he told me that for an additional amount of money $1500 they could get my truck picked up within the next day. I agreed to that but it was not picked up as stated. 4 days later I get a call from the driver asking me for directions. His name was Rolarick Thompson from Thompson's Auto Transport in Memphis. I spoke to him as he loaded our truck on the phone. Even though he did not pick up the vehicle for weeks after the quoted pick up date... I still was able to deal with the issue.

Our truck was supposed to be delivered by Halloween but it never arrived. NOT ONCE did the so called president of this company... Mt. Mike Lowell EVER try to communicate with me as to why their website is filled full of lies and deceptive statements and he never once explained why they gave a felon without a current license to transport or current insurance the ability to have access to the only thing we had left to our names... our truck. He has also not responded to any of the communications sent by my lawyer trying to get this company to replace not only our vehicle but the tools and items inside left by people who contributed items to help us in our transition such as handmade quilts and coffee. The company now claims they are just brokers but they hired this thug to transport my truck and have done absolutely NOTHING to help us even after I gave them all the information needed to contact the driver themselves. IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY!

I['m looking forward to reading what kind of BS story you people are going to come up with to cover your astrals here. You can not dodge this complaint because every last word is the truth and there are multiple people and agencies that know it. By all means Mr. Lowell... I would LOVE to hear what you have to say because you have been surprisingly quiet during this entire fiasco. WHY IS THAT? You know how to contact me or my lawyer. Want to sue me or threaten to sue me for some imagined slander against your totally inept company? I can't wait. We will see who the courts determine to be in the wrong here.

Thank you for visiting our page on this site. This entire issue and all of these allegations are against a short term subcontractor we used called Thompsons Trucking and not against Stateway Auto Transport. At the time we dispatched out this order to his company, all of his licensing and insurance was up to date and he even had a 100% rating on the National Load Board (CentralDispatch.com). To date, Mrs. Hughes has refused to provide us with a single police report number or detective's name and contact info without which we cannot make a stolen vehicle report to the US Department of Transportation. We are offering our undivided assistance to Mrs. Hughes but unfortunately these are nothing more than allegations until we can validate what took place. Instead of cooperating with us on getting this resolved Mrs. Hughes had taken to the Internet to tarnish our reputation when we have been nothing but helpful to her during this entire ordeal. Please be advised that our lawyer is now involved and investogators are currently looking into this matter so we can hopefully shed some light on Mrs. Hughes's claims. All we know is that Stateway has nothing to do with the alleged theft and making it seem like we stole her car or somehow knowingly dispatched out her order to a felon is unfair since Mrs. Hughes herself aknlowledges that Stateway obviously did not steal it (we never even saw her vehicle) but then her review title implies otherwise. Mrs. Hughes has posted reviews on three vital sites and we are kindly asking her to remove those for the above mentioned reasons. It must also be noted that since these accusations have surfaced we have taken extra precautionary steps and have beefed up our screening of third party subcontractors to levels that not a single other company in the industry even comes close to. We have lost a few carriers that we have been doing business with for years because they felt that we were too intrusive and did not feel comfortable with us doing a background check on them since no one else they work with ever has. Some even took it as a personal insult. Please be advised that our company always does whatever we can to be there for our customers regardless of the situation. Thank you for taking the time to read our response.
