I hired Rock Bottom Rate Transport to transport a motorcycle from California to Oregon. A price was quoted at $300. A deposit of $100 is to be paid upfront and $200 upon delivery. A contract was sent by Rock Bottom to confirm the quote, I than signed on 10/19/11. I paid the $100 and a truck (not Rock Bottom’s truck) picked up the motorcycle. After speaking to the driver, he informed me that this company was a dispatcher and has been known to overcharge there customers. The motorcycle was delivered. The driver tells the pick up person that $400 is owed, an additional $200 than the contract states. I informed Micheal from Rock Bottom that I have a signed contract stating the amount that was quoted. He informed me that it stipulates that at anytime they can change there contract amount due to economical changes i.e. fuel, price inflation, etc. No where in the contract does it indicate any escalation and/ or inflation clauses. Because I didnt agree with paying the amount, he than threatened to charge me a $400 per day storage fee, when he wasnt even storing it. He said if I didnt pay the amount and wanted to fight it, I should call his attorney, he told me "he is very good." I had to pay the additional money, but am in fact taking the required steps for small claims court if I do not get any response back from him with 30 days.

zero down until carrier assigned so no more headaches of this nonsense over $200 USD, wow! , all have to say is this is this so called clients 10th review and many including vulgar language, anyways, signed contract/ terms on file clearly states prices are APX/ Estimates, fluctuate due to gas prices, weather conditions, taxes, economic climates, etc., we welcome the opportunity to come down to palm beach county to pursue nonsense in a courtroom. will have more real clients post valid 5 star reviews and not this nonsense, another tire kicker mad over paying real 2012 prices not low low low low low prices, best regards, vote 2012! www.rockbottomratetransport.com, 0 down until carrier assigned, no games nor gimmicks!
