Never received a refund of $175.00

We submitted a contract on 9/13/11 and had to cancel on 9/14/11. The contract stated we had 3 days to cancel and receive the VISA refund. As of this writing which has been 37 Business Days and 53 Calendar days we have never received the refund. I have had numerous email conversations with the Carrier, all say we will receive the full refund. I can produce all of the correspondence and one of the most recent is as follows:

Notice the above email date which is already 32 business days and 45 calendar days.

Please also notice the sleazy remark about my choice to cancel. This was my option and I had a very good reason which I explained to Mr. Michael (last name unknown).

On 10/31/11 I received the following:

your account refund is processing; starting today, 10/31 we are not charging a penny until carrier assigned so no more headaches like this occur, THX

This sort of tells me that no attempt to refund our deposit had taken place until 10/31/11. It is now Sunday, 11/6/11 and there is still no refund in our VISA account.

I am 75 years old and in my lifetime I have never encountered a credit card company taking 30 business days to complete a refund.

My wife and I have dealt with two (2) other transport companies and had no problems with either.

In our opinion this Transport Company/Person is "not the most reputable" we have encountered and hopefully there are not any more like this one. If so, it surly will give the business a bad name.
