I had taken my time to prepare the car prior to shipment just like DAS instructed me. The vehicle was dropped off at San diego (May 07 2008), CA with destination to Cincinnatti, OH. Weather conditions were not suitable for shipping cars across the states. As a result my car was delayed for a week and that is reasonable. At the end my car got delivered to the Cincinnatti terminal. The hood of the car was damaged. At first it was not very noticeable but when I washed the car the damage was evident. I had paid extra money for the top load and even that did not prevent my car from getting damaged. By the way there is a $250.00 deductable on the DAS contract So my vehicle's repair cost was b/w $700-800. DAS only send me a check for $526. The rest of the money has to come out of my own pocket. Now, how fair is that having to pay someone else to ruin your car. The deductable is so unfair. You cause the damage you pay full, right. I thought my car would be on good hands, but I was wrong obviously. They did promise an excellent and unforgetable experience. They even bragged about their many years of experience which I never questioned them.
