I previously had used Amerifreight for shipping the 1953 Ford from Utah to NY last Summer 08'. I selected them because I read all of the reviews which gave me confidence after an extremely bad experience with "Cross Country auto transport" who took my money for the deposit and never delivered on having my car picked up. They also weren't returning my phone calls. The real kicker was after getting my deposit back, I received emails from Cross County asking to survey my satisfaction on the delivery which never happened.
Amerifreight on the other hand stayed with me every step of the way to ensure everything proceeded and to my satisfaction. When it came time to ship the 1953 to Maryland, there was no hesitation on my part that I would use them again and will continue to do so. To my welcome surprise, the day after faxing over my confirmation paperwork I received a call the very next day that a carrier was on board with shipment and that I would have the car delivered within 2 days.
In both instances, the drivers were very polite, courteous and very conscientious and careful with the vehicle.
Go with Amerifreight and you will be satisfied too!!
