Company promptly found a driver, but coordination of pickup and delivery with was difficult due to radio silence from the driver, even when calling done via AmeriFrieght contacts. No contact from driver until repeated calls, claimed he didn't have my number though it was provided to AF for him to have, so don't know where things broke down.
Delivery scheduled by driver then cancelled, then was late on the rescheduled day.
Also, driver got ramp grease all over car exterior and interior and claimed it had been leaking oil and gas daily, though it did not leak either fluid at origin or at delivery or since.
Bottom line: If AF continued to use this driver I could not recommend them to others. To their credit, they (AF) did make efforts to make sure I got hold of him, but the grease on the car and strange story about leaking fluids leaves me with a bad feeling.

We were disappointed to hear that the customer's car had grease stains at delivery. As long as any damage to the vehicle is noted on the Bill Of Lading that every customer signs at pickup and delivery, the damage is covered by the carrier's insurance. Any unsatisfactory service provided by our carriers will remove that carrier from our Preferred Carrier list. Our staff will assist customers in the process of submitting a claim.
