I have shipped two cars in the past three years and AmeriFreight sets the bar pretty high when it comes to servicing the customer. This is the first time that I enlisted a service organization and never once did *I* call them on phone for service-related question or clarification.
Once, the quote was confirmed and deposit paid, they sent me a detailed step-by-step checklist that they call 'AFshippingAID'. It's a word document and it answers all questions that one might have with regard to shipping timelines and what to expect when. Most of the customer service was online or via emails. I was also contacted periodically by phone for follow-up.
Their quote was reasonable and competitive; the BBB rating gave me the assurance and reviews were overall good. I now know why. I'll definitely use their service again and recommend AmeriFreight to anybody. As with any auto shipping service provider, I would also recommend shippers to have patience with their economy quote; it does take time to find a trucker for the price they quote. If you don't have patience, choose their AFTA plan.
