My son first chose Amerifreight to transport his car to Arizona based on the BBB rating and the online reviews. He made an inquiry about economy shipping and was given a quote and a transaction number. We tried to talk to Rachel before putting down a deposit, but she would not return our phone calls. We went ahead and put down a deposit, she called us once, not particularly forthcoming on how the economy package worked. We waited to get the call for pick-up, when none came, we left multiple messages for Rachel and she did not return any of our calls. I called a different number and was put in touch with Amy. By this time, we had wasted so much time waiting for the pick-up call that never came, we had to upgrade, and pay an additional $250 to get the car to Tucson in a reasonable amount of time. The car was delivered a day later than expected and filthy. Amy was nice to work with; she always returned calls and responded to e-mails. However, we were still left feeling dis-satisfied with the whole transaction for the amount of time that it took and the aggravation that it caused - it was stressful and expensive. Our feeling is that we got the big shake-down. Whether it was through simple, inept handling of the transaction or this was the way economy customers are treated, I do not know. I do know that I feel taken advantage of and I will probably not ship a vehicle again through anyone if I can avoid it.

Our team is always disappointed when a customer experiences anything less than excellent service. We aim to be completely upfront with every customer on explaining how the shipping process works. When we fail to offer excellent customer service to any customer, we make efforts to ensure that this experience will not happen again.
