They Flat out Lied - Updated (A1 Auto Transport)

The salesperson told me that they might not be able to pick up the car on the exact date, but that they would pick it up within 2 -3 days of the date. Their web site also says that if the schedule changes that they will contact you. Well, I called them on the day they were supposed to pick up the car and their story was TOTALLY different and instead of being pleasant to speak to they were suddenly very hard to work with. I found out that no truck had even been dispatched yet and when I asked them for an updated window on when they would pick up the car they would not give me one and said they couldn't guarantee me anything. They also NEVER called me to inform me of this and it has totally ruined the plans I made around this (I live far away from where the car is and it may very well cost me a $300 plane ticket. At the very least it will cost me more to find someone who will guarantee a fast pickup now since the car ABSOLUTELY has to leave soon). They flat out lied to me in the begining about how this service would be handled and it has caused me many headaches. At least they are supposedly cancelling and refunding me the money without any problems but I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for the credit to appear on my next credit card statement either. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL, experience. DON'T do it! DON'T use them EVER!" />
