I went with Ultimate Transport 123 because of all the good reviews, but I was deeply disappointed with the service I received. I had to fly in to the location where two of my vehicles were located and was flying back home the next day. Timing was absolutely critical, and I made sure to tell that to the customer service rep who took my call. I was told that the day/time would be guaranteed and not to worry about a thing. I was also told that because one of my vehicles did not run, I would have to pay extra as the truck needed to have special equipment to pull the vehicle into the truck. I also requested that I be notified one day before the pickup and at least 1-2 hours before the trucker showed up at the pickup location. Well, I was never called. Not one time. To say communication with this company was poor would be putting it lightly. On the day of the pickup, I flew in to the location and called UT123 since I still hadn't been contacted once. I was told that a driver had not yet been assigned and that I would be contacted as soon as they find one. This was at 10am. A few hours went by, and still nothing. I called them back at 1pm, and they said they had assigned a driver finally, and they gave me the company information and told me to call them for an estimate of when they would arrive. After speaking with a rep from the trucking company, the rep tells me that the driver may not be able to pick up my vehicles until the following day. I told him that I was told the pickup was guaranteed and that I would not be there the following day as I was flying out the next morning. He told me that he would do the best he can. So another few hours go by, and nothing. So I call them back yet again, this time around 4pm and ask what the deal is. He tells me that the driver that was assigned may be able to pick my vehicles up but that it wasn't guaranteed. He told me to wait for the driver to call me to give me an idea of his location and possible ETA. So I waited and waited for a phone call and yet again nothing. So I call back around 8pm and ask to get the driver's phone number so that I can call him myself because at this point I've been waiting at the pickup location for over 10 hours with no idea if they are actually going to pick my vehicles up. I finally get in touch with the truck driver himself, and he tells me that he has one more vehicle to drop off before he can come to my location to pick my vehicles up. He tells me that he can be there in about an hour as the other drop off was within 5 miles of my location. Another 2 hours go by and still nothing. It is now 10pm and I get on the phone with the driver again to see what is going on. He tells me he's almost done dropping off the other car and that he would be there in 15 minutes. 10:30pm comes around and the driver finally shows up. The driver was extremely upset when I told him that one of the two vehicles did not run. I told him that I had made that very clear with the broker (Ultimate Transport 123) when I booked the transport service. He told me that he did not have a winch on his truck and that if I wanted my vehicle shipped, that we would have to push it into the truck. Seeing as how this was my only option, I asked a neighbor politely if he could come out and help us push the car up and into the truck. We struggled because the semi truck was parked on a slight hill, but after about 20 minutes of pushing and readjusting, we managed to get it into the truck. Another issue I had with this company was in my contract it stated what the deposit amount was going to be and how much I had to pay in cash. They even sent me something via email with the same amounts and made me confirm and sign online. When the driver showed up, the deposit amount they charged me was different (less than the original $500 quoted) and they did not want to correct the issue. I had left cash at the delivery location and because they charged me less in the deposit and requested more in cash, this meant that I would have to figure out a way to get more cash at the drop off location as I was on a work trip and wasn't going to be there for the drop off. The drop off was no different. Little to no communication. I had to call and ask where the truck was and when the estimated delivery date was. After speaking to the driver on the day of delivery, I requested an hour notice and of course did not get it. I called him later that evening and he tells me he was 15 minutes from the drop off location. I had to make arrangements with a friend to received the cars which is why I wanted a 1 hour notice. Needless to say, this was the worst possible customer service I have ever experienced with a shipping company and would never do business with them again. I was charged extra for services that they did not provide and the communication was absolute zero. I would not recommend this at all.
