Quoted $475 and then when I accepted they raised it to $600. I didn't want any problems so I gladly paid more money to who I thought would be a good company to go with. They in turn contracted Save On Transport to deliver my vehicle. Supposed to take 2 to 4 days to reach me.
After 5 days the assured me everything will be fine and vehicle is on the way. On day 8 I learned that the vehicle hasn't even left for delivery to me. I spoke over and over with Tropical Auto Carriers about the problems and they did little to help. I was the one calling the transporter and trying to find out what was going on. I finally gave up with them and finally got ahold of owner of transportation company. After yelling at him for constantly lying to me on day 10 he gave my vehicle to another transporter who delivered my vehicle the next day.
I PUT 100% OF THE BLAME ON TROPICAL AUTO CARRIERS. The reviews on this site clearly show that the carrier they picked(Save On Transport) has HORRIBLE reviews. I am talking all reviews are NEGATIVE. Why would they choose to use them is beyond me. No reputable company would. To top it off the carrier who finally delivered it wasn't even contracted by Tropical Auto Carriers. I told the they should refund my $100 deposit but of course I get no response.Do yourself a favor and find a company who cares. THEY NEVER EVEN CALLED TO SEE IF I GOT THE VEHICLE.

I can assure you we do care, David. Unfortunately, Save-on dropped the ball for us this time. We only use carriers we have used prior and for us to hire them, they go through we lengthy process to be added to our carrier list and I can promise you we have hired Save-on 6 times in the past with no issues. Our dispatcher, Scotty, was in complete communication with you and answered all of your calls through out the transport. Save-on was very unresponsive and there were a lot of questions unanswered due to their lack of communication, not ours. We spoke to you at least 20 times through this transport. A lot of the statements on this review are exaggerated, if not false. Take care.
