I requested a quote to ship vehicle, and was told by Sam of Tristar Trucking that the total cost would be $355.00. I then was told to pay a deposit of $175.00, and the remaining amount due at drop off would be $180.00. When the driver arrived, I was told the total payment would be $375.00. We then contact Sam of Tristar Trucking and he said that the "Broker's Fee" is separate from the contract. When we referenced that the contract stated that "The Amount Due" was $180.00, he indicated that it was wrong and that I had to pay the $375.00 to get my car. There was no paperwork or conversation mentioning that I had to pay $375.00. I have shipped over ten (10) cars at different times and this is the first time a broker outright lied about an agreement. I would warn any potential customer, DO NOT USE this shipper. They also have an "F" from the Better Business Bureau. I know, I should have checked them out BEFORE I dealt with them. My fault. I STRONGLY request that anyone thinking about shipping a vehicle, PLEASE check them out with the BBB. You won't regret it like I have.

all we charged customer for was the broker fee, which is in the signed contract and he chose to not want to pay it upon delivery.
