Horrible Service and Nothing But Excuses

My experience started simple enough, do a search, request pricing and try to learn the ins and outs of shipping a vehicle. It all seems simple enough and for an outsider to the industry doesn't seem like it should be that difficult. I didn't select the lowest price, or the highest, and had narrowed it to a couple shippers. I should have heeded the warnings about companies that take your money immediately without having provided a service yet. I asked what I thought were the right questions and was not told the truth, but instead I was told what they needed to say to get my business. The lies started with the statement that, "Transport Services was not a broker, but a direct shipper that have their own fleet of trucks and drivers at their disposal", followed with the statement,"We have a truck in the area and will pick your vehicle up on Monday or Tuesday". On April 14th Transport Services billed my credit card for what they called a deposit and it was all down hill from there. What followed were weeks and weeks of excuses of why my vehicle was not picked up yet. The excuses I got the most were, "Our truck is broke down and not able to pick up your vehicle, but we are reaching out to sister companies to assist with this transport", intermittenly mixed with "we are picking your vehicle up on (pick a day). If your in business, you do not let the machinery used to generate revenue be broken down for weeks on end let alone months. On June 8th I recieved an email stating, "We are having issues with our phone lines today. At this point, I would like to leave the decision in your hands in regards to your order." My response, also on June 8th was short and to the point, "Please refund my deposit immediately and no longer work on this issue." Here it is July 8th and I still have not been refunded the money they charged for a service they were unable to perform. What I get when I call is sent into a circle of messages and voicemail boxes. When I do get a real person, they promptly dump me back into the endless on hold message which always ends in a voicemail box. This company will lie to you, take your money, provide no service whatsoever, and laugh at you as they take your money to the bank. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I'm a decent, patient guy willing to give people the benefit of the doubt. These people abused that and here I sit almost 3 months later with unresolved issues.
