I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience with Car Carriage has been extremely disappointing due to the lack of communication and transparency from the owner and broker, James Taylor. I spoke with James for over a month leading up to my move. I asked him very clearly when I should list my car to guarantee it would be shipped on time. He gave me the dates and the quote, and I trusted his guidance. He told me that I would receive a call within the 3-day carrier pickup window. Instead, I was completely ghosted. No calls, no updates, no returned voicemails. Nothing. I later discovered through another shipping company that James removed my listing from Central Dispatch without notifying me, and I still have not received a single follow-up call or explanation. I want to be clear: I do not blame Car Carriage for not securing a carrier right away. That happens, especially in certain regions or seasons. What I do blame them for is: - Failing to update my carrier price when no drivers were taking the load - Failing to communicate anything when the pickup window passed - Failing to provide transparency about what was happening with my listing - Removing my Central Dispatch posting without telling me - Completely abandoning the booking and disappearing when I needed guidance A broker’s main job is communication, transparency, and adjusting the listing as needed and none of that happened. I was left on my own with zero notice, and no professional should treat a customer like that—especially when the customer is relying on time-sensitive transport. I would NEVER recommend Car Carriage based on my experience.
