This was my first experience in car shipping. I was amazed early on by Stateway's website, and also their own fleet management. Their support also included 24/7 business hours, car tracking, online chat with dispatchers(wow), and so on. I needed to transport a huge 18.5 foot-long car weighing 5,300 pounds, and so I was pleased with their quote, which was among the best of dozens. Honesty matters foremost, the quoted amount stayed the same all the way to the end. There were no tricks, hassles or problems for any payments or refunds. The truck experienced an unfortunate mechanical problem which delayed pick-up, but Stateway was able to solve this problem after a reasonable delay. They said they would refund my deposit and that I should pay the driver the entire amount instead. They picked up the car a few days later with another truck and then the transit occured extremely fast, faster than I expected. The car was understandably dirty after a 1500 mile trip, but undamaged. I had it washed upon arrival. Then stateway refunded my deposit as promised. I am quite satisfied with the whole experience and would use Stateway's services again.
