My wife and I were moving from Southern California to Washington State. Neither of us had ever used a transport company and we were both a little apprehensive about the whole process. From the moment we filled out an online quote we were bombarded with at least a dozen different transport companies and/or brokers who wanted our business with quotes from $500 - $850. We decided to go with Stateway Auto Transport to ship our 2004 BMW 325i, not because they were the cheapest @ $695, but because of the online reviews, the amount of insurance coverage, and the fact that they use their own fleet of trucks whenever possible. Our driver contacted us to see how late he could pick up our vehicle. I half jokingly said anytime up till midnight, and sure enough around 11:30 he showed up, did a quick inspection, loaded up our vehicle, and was on his way. Two days later and just as quickly our car arrived in Washington; though a tad bit dirtier than we left it (expected in a 1200 mile trek in an open trailer). In the end, our driver was very prompt, polite and courteous. We would definitely use Stateway in the future.
