Before selecting any shipping company, please research and understand how the industry. process works. Almost all of these companies are brokers and dont own the trucks, they give you a quote based on distance and other factors. These brokers then have access to trucking companies bulletin board (website) where they submit the transport request. Trucking company that has truck travelling in the direction/ space available and if interested in price offered will accept the request. Once the request is accepted the broker will provide with trucking company's name and contact info. From that point on you have to work with the trucking company. Since I had no issues such as driver asking for extra money at time of deliver or damage to the car, I did not have to deal with the broker.

I submitted request online, received several quotes and followup calls. I was interested in a company with local office (in case I had to go there - if something went wrong). Did some research and decided to use Stateway Auto transport. Their initial quote was bit higher than most of the other quotes, spoke to Eric about the quote and he agreed to match the quote.

Stateway called me back and told me the car will be picked up on Wednesday (with the standard warning : car pickup can be delayed upto 7 days), also provided me with the transport company's name and tel number. I immediately called the transport company and was told the car will be picked up Thursday, they gave me the drivers number. I immediately called the driver and was told the car will be picked up Friday. Friday morning the driver called and gave me a window of 2 hours, he came and picked up the car. Sunday morning my son got a call in Boston that the car will be delivered in an hour, car was delivered no issues.
