This was the first time I had to utilize this type of service. My mom died in January and dad wanted to move from Florida back to Wisconsin. A friend of mine had looked into transporting their daughter's car and gave me an overview. So I started checking out the transport companies. Prices range $300-$1,200. Keep in mind on the lower end, you get what you pay for. Check out their ratings and that's where I found Stateway Auto Transport had an A+ BBB rating. They got back to me super fast on cost and logistics. The vehicle was picked up within a day of the window of availability. I talked to the driver several times. He was great. They actually picked up the car on a Thursday and had it to us in Wisconsin the following Saturday. That is why I'm giving the 5 star rating to Stateway. If I need to move a car again, they will be the only ones I will call.
