This has been such a disaster from the beginning! Stars and Stripes worked to find us a "driver" to take a vehicle from MD to MN and charged us $150.00 on a credit card, which was fine. We knew the entire amount of shipping the vehicle would be $950.00... we just assumed that the remaining amount of $800 would be charged once the car was dropped off at the end of the trip. WELL NOOOOOO, that is not what is happening. We are new to shipping a vehicle have never done it and will never do it again! We have been told by the driver that he was CASH on delivery which we were never told. This entire process has been confusing and time consuming with so many players and so many strange phone numbers calling. Now we are told if we don't have "CASH" we don't get the car... it's a Sunday night at 11:00pm. COMMUNICATION IS KEY and this was never communicated to us. Extremely frustrated and if this car needs to be back in Maryland or any other state for that matter, if will be DRIVEN THERE BY MYSELF OF ANOTHER FAMILY MEMBER.
