Not impressed by this company at all. I called them to get a quote from car transported from Colorado to Virginia. Gave them all details for date it needs to be picked up, exact time it needs to be dropped off (They had a a 5 day advance notice), exact details of the car, pics of the car etc. I was told it was no problem at all and cost would be $1,250 no hidden fee's nothing to worry about. About once a day I was on the phone with them touching base making sure everything was under control, no issue etc. The morning it was supposed to get picked up I get a phone call from Stars and Stripes saying it was now going to cost $1,800!!! A $550 increase / 30% increase!! When expressing how not impressed I was, all I got was lame excuses how they have done but the best they could, they are just a broker, and they cant get another driver at the price they quoted etc. Whats the point of an exact quote, told no hidden fees, forced to give a credit card so they can organize etc if 5 days later a few hours before the car is getting picked up when your about to do the job you give a 30% increase?!?!?. Because of the deadline I had I was conned into paying the extra due to I could not get another trucking company due to how last minute it was since they sprung this up when it was to late for me to change. I got the bill down to $1,625 but that was still $375 / 23% increase!! Now I will say, the car got there on time, it was delivered safely and correctly, but I will not use them again due to horrible business practice. No point of giving exact quote if at final moment when its to late for me to change you give a 30% increase.
