This company provided a firm quote with an order ID Number 58951-TH after I'd given them a two week window for pickup.
They took my deposit and never once initiated any further correspondence. I e-mailed them 8 times and they e-mailed back with a lame excuse that they're working on it, "we're here for you," etc.!!
My bid was $599, which I knew was low, but again, gave them a two week window. The person selling the vehicle was very patient, but wanted to have a name and phone number of the shipper and driver.
Finally, after numerous BS e-mails, Steven Miller at Stars and Stripes, said he had made arrangements to have the vehicle picked up that very day! I called him and provided all pertinent details. He then pulled the old bait and switch, saying that I would be paying $850.
I told him I might very well pay $850, but it wouldn't be to Stars and Stripes as I considered them very unethical.
I immediately contacted another broker and got the vehicle shipped out the next day for $700.
This company is unethical and dishonest. They obsiously underbid the cost and never could get it done for the agreed price.
I would suggest never using this company unless you just like frustration, dealing with dishonest people and having them lie to you at every turn.
