Overall, our experience with this transaction was good to excellent. It's a little hard to know whether we are reviewing the broker or the trucking company itself. The broker, Honesty First Auto Transport, was excellent and provided us with the contact information for the trucking company: FHT Auto Transport. The date we arranged for pickup with the broker ended up being changed by FHT because what was important to us was that the car NOT arrive in California before our daughter did, and FHT told us that, in order to ensure that, they needed to pick up the car a few days later. That was not a problem for us. The pick up day itself was a bit frustrating as the driver apparently got us mixed up with a customer in Wilmington, DE (we are in Bethesda, MD) and so it turned out that all the estimates he gave me throughout the day of when he'd be there were completely erroneous. This was minor, however, and he did pick up the car that evening. The car got to California in fine shape and was delivered on the first possible day we had requested with no glitches whatsoever. We indeed had the cell phone number of the driver from the get-go and he answered it every time (probably 2 or 3 times) I called. I would definitely recommend this company.
