Down to the wire

I rated the service 4 out of 5 because I left a couple of voice mails for my representative before I decided to use Ship-A-Car-Direct and those calls weren’t returned. I almost didn’t use the service because of that. I called a third time and spoke to support to let them know that the car could be picked up earlier than we originally thought, but I’m not sure that change was made in the system. I replied to one of the automated emails with the pickup information (the seller was available on Monday, and then would be out of the country until Saturday) and that seemed to get my rep's attention and I did get a call back. Eventually, I did get an email on the Monday morning saying that the car would be picked up that day. And then 4 hours later I received an email from the seller saying that the car had been picked up. The car arrived 2 days later and no issues there. That, of course, was the main thing, so mission accomplished. The price was fair, and the series of automated emails were helpful, but I would have paid more to feel like I was getting better service and communication.
