At beginning I was skeptical about the car long distance shipping since I am always worrying about the car condition (scratching or shipping people sometime will drive your car for fun). However, Ship a Car Direct totally eased my concern. I got the recommendation from my friend who recently shipped his car from Connecticut to Washington. I decided to contact the company. Stefan was very helpful and scheduled the pickup date for me. What I needed to do was just want for driver's call. They eventually came one day late, but that is due to very bad weather. To me this is totally not a problem at all. The driver carefully loaded my car to his truck after all documentation work was finished and informed me that the car will be delivered in 7 days. A day later I start heading out for Washington state. Surprisingly, before I arrived in Washington the drive called me and told me that my car can be delivered earlier. It took them ONLY 4 days to arrive in destination. Since I still need one day to be there I request them to hold the car until I arrive. The following week they loaded my car on a smaller sized truck and delivered it to my place. I checked the car:
1. The rear part of car was cover by lots of dirt. This is quite understandable since they have to travel through snow storm area.
2. There is no scratch to the car. The car was in a perfect condition.
3. The mileage is the same as that when it was picked up.
In summary, this is a quite pleasant experience. Overall I like the service very much and am confident to use the same service from Ship a Car Direct if I need to relocate again.
