This was my first experience with shipping a vehicle, and the route was Phoenix, AZ to Minneapolis, MN to ship my daughter's car home from college. My primary point of contact Jennifer, walked me through the entire process from my initial questions to my eventual order and the pick up our vehicle over the holidays. Jennifer was patient, professional understanding and informative. By the end of the process, I had a complete understanding of the auto shipping industry and Jennifer made sure I had the best and most competitive rate for the delivery of my vehicle. Unfortunately my experience with the transport company/carrier that picked up my car was not as pleasant. The driver was rude and unprofessional and I was given inaccurate communication, and my delivery date changed multiple times, eventually arriving 3 days later that originally quoted by the company. Had the delay been due to weather, a mechanical issue, or some other unforeseen incident, I would have been understanding. However, the delivery of my vehicle was delayed multiple times to accommodate the auto-transports scheduled, with conflicting information provided by multiple contacts at this company about the ultimate date/time of delivery. Ultimately, I was grateful to have my car daughters car delivered 3 days late.
I would however use Ship A Car Direct in the future, and I would use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for expertise, or to walk them through the process of shipping their vehicle.
