I had searched long and hard to find the most reliable company to ship my car of 11 years from Georgia to Oregon, and Ship-A-Car was the way to go. My mom actually found out about it, I think through Better Business Bureau. I requested a quote just a few days before needing my car to be picked up, and although it was quite a chunk of change, the convenience of the whole process from beginning to end (and transporting my car from the east coast to the west coast) made it all worth it. The customer service provided was incredible, and I would use this company again. The contracted car company that actually shipped my car was Cargo King, Inc. and the driver was extremely knowledge and very thorough. He thoroughly inspected my car and talked me through it all, and he allowed me time to ask questions without feeling rushed. Although he was a tad late picking up my car in Georgia (he was scheduled to pick it up Thursday, 7/27 but ended up being Friday morning, 7/28), it wasn't terribly much of an inconvenience. I would, however, recommend anyone shipping their vehicle and relying on other transportation to get you from Point A to Point B (I was flying to Oregon the following Sunday), maybe plan to have your vehicle picked up a day or two earlier than you would think if you can spare it...just to account for mishaps like that. I would at least plan for that when the shipping is long distance. The estimated delivery to Oregon was the following Saturday, 8/5, but I was expecting it to be a day later because of the late pickup time, but I it arrived much earlier than expected- on Wednesday, 8/5. I was thrilled, and my car was in mint condition for just having traveled almost 3,000 miles. No scratches, dents, etc. Only really dirty from the ride, but that was such an easy fix and she's as good as new, ready to ride these Oregon roads. Happy travels, y'all! :)
