My move was not a common route, so it ended up costing more than the initial estimate. However, once a carrier was found, everything went smoothly. The folks at shipacardirect were excellent with communicating by phone or email. I was on the road myself during our move, so the flexibility in method of communication was appreciated. The carrier was also very good with communication, and kept me up to date on progress. He must have driven 14 hours a day, and had only my car on his trailer behind his pickup. That was probably the uncommon route: mine was the only car wanting to be hauled that way. Thus the higher cost.
