Would recommend but took a bit longer to get things started

The Ship-a-car person kept setting slightly unreasonable expectations as to when the car would be picked up. He thought it should be picked up sooner than it actually ended up being (there were a lot of cars for trucks to pick up, but no one was picking them up for some reason). The cost of the transport also kept being increased. That being said, once the car was picked up, the car was promptly picked up and transported. The truck people were good about calling in advance of them coming by and called multiple times if they couldn't reach us at first. They were very nice and the car was picked up and arrived on time with no damage (just a bit dirty from being on the open carrier for eight days as expected). Overall, it was a very good experience even if it was rocky at the start. I would recommend leaving plenty of time (up to a week or two) before you want the car to be picked up, so that they have time to gather enough cars to put them on a truck for transporting.
