Pick up nightmare

I was called by carrier office with pickup scheduled for noon. Was not given any call back numbers but I was able to locate office via Internet search. I called the office at 1:00 and they said now 3:00. I called office at 3;30 and she said now 5:00pm and was given driver's cell number. Texted the driver who said probably closer to 6:00pm. Driver arrived at 9:00pm. Office was told that the latest time for pickup was 7:00 to insure enough daylight. He was less than kind to my neighbors but did leave after a half hour. Driver called at 5:30am the next day and arrived at 6:30am. Driver was not kind until I made him coffee and he revealed each and every tale connected to the delays of picking up each vehicle. In summary, he waited an hour to two hours for each of the owners to arrive home to surrender their vehicles. Mine was last and he admitted to being too upset to be civil when he arrived. Not that he apologized at all but did explain why he was not kind. He was just as uncooperative to shop owner when he delivered my car in Illinois.

I was in regular contact with Matt who did not offer any further assistance and I did not choose to call him as the day got longer and longer. I would use Ship A. Car Direct again because in the past the service from Matt was excellent but NOT this carrier. I would have appreciated being able to have been given information regarding the carrier initially. I should have cancelled the car carrier who was awarded my contract after the second delay but only kept the contract in force because Matt had stated their reputation was excellent and I trusted Matt's opinion and expertise. I had just the opposite experience and will not allow my vehicle to be transported via that carrier again. I cannot recommend them to anyone due to poor office communication, poor driver communication and total disregard for any form of customer service.

Thank you for your feedback - and for making the driver coffe, Sandie. Sorry your delivery was delayed due to the issues with other customers. We can certainly provide any contact information we have for the carrier in advance. Next time, please do not hesitate to call Matt for that information. We have noted your situaton and your concerns and will not be using this particular carrier again.
