Driver Issue

I would have to qualify this review. Tim with Safe Direct Car Shipping was very helpful. The problem was with the driver that picked up my car. It was very difficult to understand him and he called and wanted the car to be picked up within a couple hours of calling. There was no advanced warning to ready the car.We had an agreed point for pickup but he called my wife and wanted to change it at the last minute to a spot over 30 miles away which we refused. We were told the diver would accept cash at the delivery point but he wanted me to have a cashiers check which caused me to go after work and find a place still open where I could get one. This was requested so he wouldn't have to take time and do it himself. I was told the car would be delivered around 4 P.M. and my land lady changed her plans to receive it for me. The car showed up the next morning at 7:30 A.M. while I was at work and again, I had to contact friends to pick it up. The transition was not smooth and repeated call to me at work proved problematic. I would use Safe Direct again because Tim was very helpful but I would ask questions about the driver and want to talk directly with the driver prior to any agreement. The final cost to ship was higher than our quote but Tim refunded some of the increase on his end and tried to make things as fair as possible.
