Terrible Service; Ethics

The communication between Regal and Guardian was non existent. Our cars were ready for a week yet no one was dispatched. So first issue, timeliness. Although, an effort was made to get the cars out to Southern California fairly directly to make up some of the lost time. Meanwhile, $50/day with tax for rental.

Now the big issue. Don't leave ANYTHING in your car. Check under the seats, compartments in the trunk, foot wells, door pockets, etc. We had some items in our car, which the driver who picked up our cars initially said was okay, but at the port they threw all of our stuff out. Even things hidden under the seats.

We were TOLD BY RONNIE AT REGAL that our items were SAFE at their facility and I could have a shipper pick them up. This could not be farther from the truth. I arranged for the pickup, and then the items ended up in Riverside California out behind a salvation army. Then, our items showed up our in the open in someone's yard in Carona, CA. Not everything is there. I paid a UPS Store $250 to collect what was left, and what is left was mostly damaged.

We were lied to and ran around. Lot's of emotional hardship for no reason. I would NEVER use this organization due to ethics alone. Shame on Guardian and shame on Regal. Neither organization stepped up to the plate to make this experience the slightest bit better (not even a slight discount, credit, or anything). Thank God our cars are in the hands of Matson on their way to Maui.
