Follow-up On Delivery Of Classic Car

Red Carpet coordinated the pick-up and delivery, including meeting the specific restricted pick-up and delivery dates. Between receiving their quote and my agreeing to the contract, shipping rates went up due to fuel price increases. Red Carpet appropriately contacted me and reviewed the situation. agreeing to search for a better rate. While they were not able to match the original quote, they contacted me shortly afterward, and satisfied my request to find a rate nearer to the original quote. In searching the Internet ing for competing quotes, I determined that their quote was indeed attractive and quickly agreed to it .

The carrier had two cars to deliver, one to drop before mine. The first stop caused a delay due to the recipient being late for the drop-off appointment. The driver contacted me to inform me of the delay. The driver then contacted me as he left the previous drop point. I was then able to easily change my plans to meet the driver at the pre-selected location.

The driver took a lot of care unloading my precious cargo. I observed that the car had been well secured for transit. The driver commentedthat I had gotten a very good rate because diesel prices had gone up $.40 per gallon between the time he lift to to pick up the car and the time of delivery which was only a few days. How lucky can I get?
