Poor Communication

I recently used Passport to have a car shipped from Ohio to California. The good: The car arrived OK and the driver seemed very knowledgeable on loading and unloading. The GPS tracking worked well. The Bad: It took three months to get the car. the original estimate was a month or less. Even worse, the communication from the Passport rep was terrible, I never got an update when the car was going to be picked up and once picked up no info on when it would be delivered. , I ALWAYS had to contact them. Phone calls were often not returned and I got promises such as " I"ll send you daily updates" or I'll get right back to you. It NEVER happened. Additionally, because it to so long for them to pick up the car, I had a period of time that I was out of the country and unable to take delivery. I relayed all of this information to the rep, but none of it got to the driver and the car would have arrived when I was gone. Fortunately, the truck broke down for a week and the car was delivered the day after I returned home. Really, really poor communications. within the company.
