First time to transport vintage car. Car was in Rhode Island - transport to WV. I contacted a dozen companies to provide my service. Several companies was only brokers not carriers. Had talk to several of these companies and found out that they would only contract out my transportation service needs. This concerned me and I didn't know who really to trust this car too. I looked up the BBB- Transportation reviews and government website to check out the license for each company that I contacted. I call Passport Transport and spoke with John Scharff. John was very knowledgeable and explained the industry's in and outs. I was put to ease with his knowledge and willingness to explain the process of transportation for my car. I really felt at ease with the fact that Passport had invented the enclosed transportation service in the early 70's and that ALL their drivers are exclusively only drivers for Passport Transport. I booked my service with John Scharff and received quick response thru email. Within a couple of days I received a call that my car would be picked up on Saturday between 3 to 4 by Mario the driver and his driving partner. On Saturday Mario was in Rhode Island and picked up the car as promised between 3-4. I received my car this morning(Tuesday) in WV. I received phone call from Mario on Monday night to set up pickup first thing Tuesday. The car was carefully removed from the top tier of the Enclosed semi and gently let down to the pavement. Mario showed me the pre pickup inspection. I enjoyed also the GPS System that let me track where my car was at all times. Passport Transport was Professional-Helpful-Easy to work with. From my first contact at Passpor, John, to the pickup with Mario and his driving partner I found this company to be First Class all the WAY. Thanks again for providing Great Service- Ron Ray WV
