I contacted Passport for a quote right around December10th, 2012. I was advised in the quote that pick up of the vehicle would be made in 3-5 days. As soon as I had accepted the quote an additional $100 was added as the vehicle was non operational. I had asked for a quote based upon the fact that it was non operational. The pick up date/window was immediatly changed from what I had been quoted to up to three weeks delay, which would have made the latest pickup date possible the 14th of January 2013. The car was not picked up until the 22nd of January. I finally recieved the car 3rd Feb. 2013. The driver was not able to deliver the car door to door even though that was what I had paid for. I was forced to rent a trailer and move the car the last 2 miles. There was no reduction in the cost or any reimursment made.

I called several times to try and find out when the car would be picked up only to be told that they didn't know and I should call back later. Attempts to communicate by e-mail were largely ignored.

If I would have known that it would take nearly 2 months to move this car I would have chosen a different carrier. I have had three cars delivered in the last 6 months and all arrived within three weeks. The drivers for all of those deliveries brought the cars to the house. The only difference between those drivers and the driver for Passport was that he spoke English. The other drivers were Hispanic or Ukranian. They could not communicate, but at least I knew where they were.

This is certainly not what I expected when I contacted passport for a quote and definately not the impression that I got when looking at thier website.

I was told by the driver that they were delayed due to all of the business at the auction houses. Surely I could have been advised of all of this prior to my booking the order. Are orders first come first served or is consideration given to others on the basis of business consideration?

This wasn't a garbage car. It was a 1966 Shelby Mustang GT 350 with avalue of $110,000.00 and I was billed most of $3000.00 to transport it. I am very fortunate that the person I purchased it from did not charge me for storage, he had every right to do so.

I am also pleased that the car arrived with no damage and complete with everything it had when loaded.

I have no real issue with the driver, he was courteous and helpful. The customer service I recieved from the company was appalling.
