I went with Passport because they told me they could get my car to me within a resonable time frame, 14 days. They also promised me a tracking number to watch my car be shipped. Well two days after my car was picked up, i found out from someone else other than the company that they picked up my car. Passport never called me to tell me they had my car or gave me a number, i had to inquire, when given a number i watched my car go from California to Lebanon Mo in 2 or 3 days. That was great, I figued it was 9 hours away from Miinnesota and the car would be to my place in a couple more days. WRONG!! Lebanon is the base headquarters for Passport and it sat there for 5- 6 days, meanwhile i was told that the trailer "was in for maintenance" . And a 32 hour d.o.t. reset and a couple other excuses, oh yea, and I was next, etc. etc. Finally after reminding them of a looming deadline that was agreed upon in the contract, it left Lebanon but they stilll wanted to push it out a couple more days past the agreed date. I refused and insited on them having it there when they promised. They were not happy about it and it certainly showed from the call center to the driver. It did arrive on the 18th but I found out from the driver that he was not the guy who picked it up and that my car was taken off the transporter and sat in their warehouse for 5- 6 days! That was very misleading because nobody told me it was going to be taken off the truck. The youtube videos on there site make it sound like once its on the truck, it stays on the truck with that driver, that is not the case. I actually could have went enclosed for less with other companys but thought that passport would be better because of the professional website they have. In Passports defense they got the car to me in the time frame promised but only because i pressured them, had i not stayed on it, who knows, it might still be in Lebanon. I have learned from this to ask more questions in the future when transporting a car. 11-8-12 - since i have posted this, i have been in contact with passports owner and discussed the service. He apologized, and explained to me that my driver had quit and left him with my car and a few others which is why my car ended up off the truck.

Nathan - Thanks for your business and for the feedback. It is reviews like this that help us improve internal processes, procedures and communication. As you stated your vehicle was picked up and delivered within the timeframe expected and was damage free, clean, etc. We did have an exception to our policy in that your vehicle did come off the trailer and was loaded onto another trailer due to a driver leaving the company. We advocate absolute transparency which is why we are the ONLY enclosed car carrier that provides real-time online GPS tracking of your vehicle during transit. I hope that in the future you will give us another opportunity to show you our business model and philosophy. Enjoy your 1960 Corvette it is an absolutely fantastic vehicle.
