Verbal guarantees over the phone were not fulfilled- poor communication

The New Way sales representative I initially paid my deposit to over the phone made many guarantees that the company could not keep. I was very clear about my tight time frame, and the representative assured me my car could be picked up within a three-day window. It was not, nor did anyone call to tell me it wasn't. They put me in the bind the day of an international flight in which I was forced to sign a new contract for an extra $150 to get a driver to come at all. I was assured door-to-door delivery as my contract stated, but the Fast Freight, Inc. driver did not want to drive so far off the main highway, and so my neighbors had to drive 25 minutes to pick it up in a parking lot (their road is a logging road and would've been accessible to the driver). Not once in the almost two weeks I dealt with them did anyone from New Way nor Fast Freight call me back as they said they would to give me a status update. Communication was unacceptable. Many of the problems may have been with Fast Freight, but my dissatisfaction comes from New Way making assurances they didn't follow through on.
