We've shipped our cars cross-country before. This is the first time we went through a broker, and I'd do it again. Kathleen at Nationwide said that they're picky about which carriers they use, and my experience backs that. With carriers we used in the past, we had to go to a place designated by the transport driver, usually somewhere seedy, but this driver came to us, or as close as he possibly could, and was super nice. The driver was good about communicating his expected arrival along the way. I had stowed some items in the vehicle, and everything was still there.
Anytime your vehicle is in an open carrier, it's going to arrive as dirty as it would be if you'd driven that distance in it. I didn't click that tag because it was no dirtier than it should have been.
