MRV is contracted by A AAAdvantage Transports in this case:

I contracted A AAAdvantage to transport my new 2007 vehicle to San Diego from Florida. I didn't want to put the miles on the vehicle, nor did I want any damage caused by the trip. The rep assured me that the vehicle will be taken care of and that it will arrive within 2 weeks.

Everything going as planned, I dropped off the vehicle at a site of theirs. The rep went over every inch of the vehicle, even calling attention to a fine scratch right above the key hole that could not even be seen unless your eye was almost touching the car. Again, brand new vehicle no dings. This was noted on the inspection report. I left the keys and began my travel to CA.

It took me about a week and a half to get to San Diego after visting family along the way. 4 more days passed with not a word from A AAAdvantage. I called service and found out that the car wasn't even picked up for almost a week after I left it at the drop off site. Now I had to wait two weeks on top of that. I called service when the car didn't show for it's new due date. Service called the driver for me. The driver said he was right outside San Diego, and he'd have my car to me no later than the following morning. No show. I called that afternoon and spoke to service again, who in turn called the driver who did not pick up. She assured me that she would get to the bottom of it and call me back. Believe it or not, no call back. Now we're a week and two days late. I call again same result. Service can't get ahold of the driver and they did not follow up with me. Three days late. I'm starting to get worried and demanded to speak to a manager and made him aware of my intentions to call the police if this driver can't be found. They did the same thing service did. Including not calling me back. Now the next day, I prepare to call the police department, and I finally get a call from the driver. He said he'd get my car to me that night. Great!! I'm just happy to finally get my car.

He showed up with a car so filthy you didn't recognize what color it was. Whoever moved the car had left grease stains all over the brand new interior. To top it off, there was a nice new little door ding on the wheel well. The worst place you could have one. Now I'm pissed. I noted the damage on the pick up report and contacted service again. They deferred me to Scott Wilcox of the claims department. He instructed me on what there was to do. Such as getting estimates, photos, and faxing all paperwork to him.

Well, I got a nice little letter in the mail today stating that my claim was submitted to MRV transport because A AAAdvantage contracted them to deliver my car and that A AAAdvantage had no responsibility to the damage. MRV stated in the same letter quote: "Your claim is denied because the damage you are claiming as new could have very well been missed due to the subtleness of the damage." "The damage in the photographs are more typical of wear and tear." How does road debris put door dings in a car? So they are saying that no matter what damage your car may incur, it was just missed at the inspection station with mister anal. You the owner caused said damage just to get over on poor little transport company. What is the reason for an inspection report if all you have to say is oops, I missed that.

This company says that it prides itself on being a leader in customer loyalty. I can't see how that would ever be the case. Do yourself a favor and stay away. After $1000 into the transport, another $100 for detailing to get the grease out of the leather, and another $150 to fix the door ding. Your better off putting your vehicle on a trailer and driving it yourself.
