My experience started off good, but slowly turned terrible. To get my business the coordinator was very communicative. After signing a contract there was a lack of communication, costs were different than my contract, and support was nowhere to be found.
My original quote was $845, then the amount agreed upon was $1,040. I put $240 down as a deposit, leaving $800 leftover to pay. That number is on my contract. When the driver dropped off the car, he said I would have to pay $900. I called HaulAway and the person directing my call referred me to my coordinator, who wouldn't answer multiple calls and had a full voicemail box. So I ended up paying $100 more to start. Then the driver told me he would only move the items I left in the car for an extra $50. I confirmed with my coordinator at HaulAway that I could move up to 100 pounds of goods as long as they didn't block the windows. HaulAway didn't tell me about the extra $50. When I finally got in touch with my coordinator he said he would talk to the driver, sort out the money, and get back to me. He never did. They are still dodging me.
Overall, I would not recommend HaulAway. I ended up paying $1,190 vs the $1,040 on my contract.
