Paid $1,450 for an enclosed container to keep my 1977 Monte Carlo from being damaged from the long trip (WA to SC). I was in a meeting when the car showed up, the driver did call 3 hrs ahead, but nevertheless, I was preoccupied in a business meeting and not able to give a thorough inspection. Once I got off the meeting, I noticed I had a dent on the front fender about the size of an M&M all the way to the metal and scratches around the dent like a chain or something hit it. The car was newly painted five years ago and stored under a car cover in a garage.

Furthermore, I noticed that whatever was parked above it in the enclosed transportation was leaking oil and it was all over the roof of my car. Wish I was not preoccupied and inspected the car before handing over the money. Now I have to pay 1300 to repair the dent on a custom painted car.

The guys running the business have minimal customer service experience. They rarely pick up the phone, don't answer emails, or return calls. I had to get the transport company that I went through to book Fife Truck to get them to call me back. The took pictures of my car upon picking it up and the dent was not there, so it did happen in shipping. I had to beg for pictures of it in the enclosed transport to verify it indeed was being shipped in an enclosed container. After 5 days of begging for pictures they finally sent me them, but they took pictures of someone else's car. Wish I had went with another company. I would not recommend shipping anything with a nice paint job due to their poor handling.
