Total disaster. Stay away from this company. They shipped my exotic car from Oregon to Florida for delivery the following Monday. But the car never showed up that day and Fife failed to extend the simple courtesy of calling me. After my dealer contacted them they told him the truck broke down in Utah. Hello? The car was scheduled for delivery that day and was still 1800 miles away? And you don't call the customer to inform him? Wait, it gets worse. The dispatcher doesn't get around to calling me until the next day, Tuesday. She tells me the car will be delivered Friday or Saturday. When I asked why the driver failed to give me the courtesy of a phone call to let me know the truck broke down, she could not explain, other than to say the driver did not speak good English. I finally received a call from the driver on Friday. He said car would be delivered Saturday at 4:00PM. No such luck. On Saturday at 2:00PM the dispatcher calls and tells me that the driver said I had cancelled my delivery! He apparently confused me with another customer who had cancelled. More heartburn. A few hours later the driver calls and asks me if I can postpone delivery by a day. I refused and insisted he deliver that day. He finally shows up eight hours late at 10:00 PM, but even then was unwilling to deliver to my house as agreed. He wants me to meet him three miles from my home near the highway because he wasn't sure the truck would clear obstacles. People ship cars to our area on large carriers every year and I have never heard of a drivers making such a request. I have shipped many cars over the years and this was by far the worst experience in memory.
