I contacted Direct Express via the internet. It was done basically as a last resort because all my other attempts to bring my car from upstate NY to NC hadn't worked out. Once I realized my original plan was for naught I searched the internet chose Direct Express at random and went through the quote process. I was impressed by two things. The fact that they were highly recommended by the Better Bus Bureau 5 years in a row I believe and that there was a video explaining the quote process. Once I decided on an enclosed trailer and an availability date everything fell into place. The car was picked up on that date and delivered to me 3 days later. The driver was excellent. He was courteous, friendly and extremely helpful. My car doesn't run and the brake fluid leaked out at some point leaving me without brakes to boot. The driver winched the car off the trailer and then helped me guide it into my driveway. I couldn't have been more pleased.
