24 days for 1,000 miles and still waiting...

I chose this company based on their BBB rating and claims of fast pickup and delivery, backed up by the numerous positive customer testimonials on their website. It's taken 24 days (so far), to transport my 1963 VW Beetle only 1,000 miles, with no delivery date yet. The car was available for transport on October 15th, and a truck was assigned October 27th. Pickup was on November 2nd, -18 days after being available. It is now November 8th, (6 days later) and still no word from the driver. This is a car I bought over the internet, and the long wait for being picked up was an inconvenience for the seller. I haven't received the car yet, so I can't attest to it's condition after being shipped, but at this rate, I'm not holding my breath. I've shipped a number of cars, with different shippers/brokers, and they all have occasional problems, even the "5-star rated" ones. I don't know if use them again unless time was not a factor.

Our outstanding record speaks for itself. Mr. Miller is shipping his car 150 miles away from the nearest big city in Minnesota to isolated Binghamton, NY, and was advised early on that his remote origination especially would preclude our normal fast service. We are gratified that we did get it done despite the logistical hurdle. We wish Geoffrey lots of luck in all his future endeavors.
