I called the company on a Thursday afternoon to make arrangements to have a car shipped from Missouri to North Carolina. The CSR Dina was very helpful but told me it might take several days before a carrier would be assigned since I don't live in a large city. I was very surprised to get a call later that same day telling me that a carrier was interested in transporting the car and wanted to know if the car was ready for pickup. I said yes and asked what day and time frame. I was pleasantly surprised to be informed the pickup would occur the next day (Friday) in the late afternoon/early evening. The car was picked up by the carrier at 7pm central time and delivered to North Carolina at 8am eastern time on Monday. The car arrived in perfect condition; no damage was found when the recipients checked it after it came off of the trailer.
I would highly recommend Direct Express Auto Transport to anyone needing to ship a vehicle. The price was reasonable with no hidden fees and the car was covered by insurance while it was being transported. One company's price quote was over $300 more than Direct Express; needless to say, I didn't use them. This was my first experience with shipping a vehicle and I'm very happy with the result.
