We were VERY pleased with Direct Express.. Our pick up date was sooner than expected and arrival date was, too. Nice! I would def recommend them, BUT the trucking firm that they contracted with was a big disappointment. The trucker did not come to our home, but rather asked us to meet him at the local Lowes parking lot, (even tho we live on a perfectly wide street) but it wasn't too far from our house so that was ok. But on delivery day he didn't come anywhere near our house. We had to meet the truck 9 and a half miles from our house, even tho our community was FULL of auto transport trucks this week (loads of vacationers going home) The dispatcher said the truck was a $150,000 truck and he didn't want to drive into the community.It was an inconvenience for us. So much for "door-to-door" service. So I loved Direct Express but I would ask not to be hooked up with Elite Trucking Corp.
