Poor Experience!!!

I had a difficult time with Auto Transport Direct. First, the person taking my order didn't type the e-mail address in correctly (leaving out the "d" in .edu). Because of this mishap, I never received my confirmation e-mail giving me an order number.

When I called three days after my supposed first day of pick-up, I was transferred a total of 4 times before talking to an incompetent employee. She couldn't locate my file electronically due to a lack of order number and was convinced this was the only way in which a file could be located. I was also told that the person who COULD locate an order through credit card numbers was conveniently on vacation. Afterwards, the employee assured me she would work on the finding the order and calling me back as soon as possible. This was not the case.

I called back later that evening and spoke to a competent woman who looked at tangible copies of the orders and quickly located mine. She was the one that caught the .edu mishap and sent me the e-mail directly after hanging up. I was thankful for her competence and helpful attitude.

The company contracted through direct express auto transport (Tri-State Auto Transport and Recovery Inc.) was very vague and hard to get straight answers from. The driver stated he would be at the residence Friday, but came at 1:30 A.M. on the morning of my flight. I never received paperwork giving me confidence the delivery would take place. Even if he were to not need my presence at pick-up, he never told me the process of the pick-up.

He sent his employee, Joe, to deliver the car the following Thursday around 4:30 P.M. after promising a delivery Tuesday afternoon following pick-up (the next day after picking up the car at 1:30 A.M.).

Contact person: Malcome McDonald.

This was a bad experience - especially being the first time I used the company. I don't plan to use direct auto transport express again.

Brandon of TN is very fortunate we found him a driver because his vehicle origination was in the middle of nowhere in Arizona. In our opinion, he is ungrateful to us for getting his vehicle out of the middle of the desert.
