On Monday January 14, 2008, I purchased a car on ebay located in Evanston, IL. The Seller told me it was picked-up on Tuesday January 15, 2008. I called Direct Express Auto Transport and they gave me the name and phone number of the carrier (Spectrum) to which the delivery had been assigned. This company told me I should have the car by Saturday January 19, 2008. When I called them on Saturday they said it would be delivered on Monday Jan 21st.

When I called them on Tuesday the 22nd they told me they had had radiator problems with the transport truck and the car should be delivered by Thursday the 24th. After waiting all weekend and today being January 28th I have not heard anything from them. As of this moment I don’t have any idea where the vehicle is and was told today by Direct Express Auto Transport that they will now try to get in touch which this carrier to find out the status of this nightmare I’ve been dealing with for over two weeks. I’m so disgusted, I would never, under any circumstances, use this carrier again.

H Hamilton of Georgia is unfortunately over-reacting. Mr. Hamiltons vehicle was picked up on the very first day it was made available on January 15th.. That's exceptional service. However, the frigid weather conditions in the midwest threw many transporters behind. While it would have been nice for Mr. Hamilton to receive his vehicle sooner rather than later, a two week delivery period during a harsh winter is not that unusual. We wish Mr. Hamilton well in all his future endeavors.
