I received an order confirmation on December 14, 2007. I am still waiting pick-up. I have called and emailed, but until yesterday I had not received any response. Yesterday I was told that I may want to consider having it picked up at another city or agree to compensate the driver at a higher rate to entice them to take the order. At this time they had no other solution other than to wait. I agreed to have it picked up 45 minutes away in Burlington, but still have not heard anything today.

I feel others should be aware that they were the first to send me a quote, but it has been very difficult to receive anything else after they received my deposit. I also find it interesting that they also have another trade name: Direct Express Auto Transport. As I was reading the reviews, I thought this could not be the same company. I checked to see that that at least the current reviews we from the central to the west coast or west cost to east coast but not east coast to east coast deliveries. Maybe they do not have the same connections on the east as they do in the central and western locations. I don't know, but my experience has been one of disappointment... with a teenager that was looking forward to having his Jeep for Christmas. It appears to me that this is the scam that many of the 4 star transporters are warning of. Quoting a price that they cannot fulfill only to come back to the customer for more money. Is this why they quoted me a price from Auto Transport Direct instead of Express Auto Transport. I noticed that there were no reviews for the company they quoted me from. This is the reason I decided to post it in two different locations. I would say to East Coast Consumers...beware!!!

Mary of Virginia had two things going against her. First is that shipments from Vermont to just about anywhere tend to go slower because it takes longer to amalgamate truckloads of several cars. Second is that she ran into the Christmas holiday season. Both of these things were explained to her. Other customers understand those logistical hurdles. We wish her well in her future endeavors.
