I used Auto Transport Direct (or Direct Express Auto Transport - name and webaddress are different) and as a broker they hooked me up with Value Auto Transport out of Montana.
My contact with Auto Transport Direct was limited. I placed the order on Monday, on Wednesday my car was picked up in SE Minnesota and delivered to Texas (Gulf Coast) by Friday afternoon. The transport company contacted me before I knew that I was assigned a transport company. I was given 4 hours to prepare the vehicle for delivery. The broker did send me an email, but to be honest, I'm not sure if the email beat the call or vice-versa. Again, not really a complaint, but does go the need for better communication by the broker (Auto Transport Direct). The web quote was accurate and the LEAST EXPENSIVE quote that I found. My only "complaint" - if you can call it that - is that they moved too quickly (see timeline above).
The transport company (Value Auto Transport) was wonderful to work with. The driver, Shawn, was honest, courtious and available via cell phone. It's very scary to just turn your vehicle over to a perfect stanger. The transport company made me feel at ease.
If I ever needed to use this type of service again, I would utilize Auto Transport Direct again.
